More than a camera.
OWNEYES records more than the image. During capture, it records the original media alongside independent evidence from the device and its movement. Time evidence and, when authorized, location can be bound to the same capture record.
Evidence beyond the image.
Device
App and device integrity help establish that the capture originated through the OWNEYES capture pipeline.
Motion
Device motion evidence records how the phone moved during the capture.
Spatial
Final ValidationOWNEYES Spatial Verification is being finalized to examine how the camera moves through a physical environment and how the observed scene responds, using spatial and depth information where supported.
Context
Capture timing is recorded, and location evidence can be added when the user chooses to enable it.
No single signal determines authenticity.
OWNEYES evaluates independent evidence together rather than relying on one magic detector.
The evidence should agree.
A camera moving through a physical environment produces evidence from more than one source. OWNEYES is designed to examine relationships between the phone's physical movement and spatial evidence from the scene, looking for consistency and potential signs of screen recapture.
Enhanced Live Verification
During Enhanced Live Verification, recording continues while the user performs a physical movement challenge. The resulting raw motion evidence is bound to that capture and evaluated server-side rather than allowing the phone to declare that it passed.
The sequence can begin in the opposite direction.
Captured once.
Fingerprinted forever.
The original media receives a SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint calculated from its exact contents. Supporting capture evidence is bound to the record, and the preserved original can be independently checked against that fingerprint.

OW-7K4F9PAlter the media and the fingerprint no longer matches.
The authenticated original remains separate from playback and sharing copies.
